He protects, he oversees, he preserves. It is the Sumatran rainforest; its maps are in his own hands. His spirit brings the birds around him, and his presence leaves them all safe. He is brave, unique and one of them.

Prior to the Spanish Conquest, the Andean textiles were already used to express the identity and the ancestral beliefs of the Inca civilization.

The textiles were produced using techniques that included weaving, dyeing, knotting, and plaiting.
