Everyday when the household wakes up, the home and its surroundings are suddenly filled with singing, talking and noise. As they sit down to breakfast at the big table, everyone tells each other about their night’s dream and then they go out into the plantation to pick coffee cherries in a joyful melody. But before everyone emerges from the humid torpor of the rainforest, she is the first to wake up, taking advantage of the calm atmosphere to gently start the day. She sits on the windowsill, barefoot, her legs swinging as she drinks her fresh coffee. Every morning, she witnesses the beauty of the surroundings, the waterfalls, the green forest and the parrots flying in the raining sky, while the comforting smell of her drink fills the air.
